There's no pork in Kuwait. There's also no alcohol. I don't drink so that doesn't bother me, but apparently you can find alcohol if you know the right people if that does bother you. Still, It's not super common from what I can tell.
But pork..... That means no bacon. Life without bacon just sounds sad. I had decided I was going to eat bacon every day for my last two weeks. I only managed about 3 days. Not that it got old, I just didn't bother. I will miss bacon.
I also ate some pulled pork for my last dinner just because I knew I wouldn't have that option for a year.
